In the first three rounds of the fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Victor Ortiz, it was Mayweather aka mony who was on top of Ortiz, giving him some great treatment. His right punches are really a great boxing treasuries and watching him throw calculated punches at Ortiz was amusing.
But in the fourth round, Ortiz seemed to have got his rhythm back. He threw some good and calculated punches at Floyd Mayweather. But then a headbut happened, that many say was intentional by Ortiz and then this changed the whole course of the fight.
Three rounds had gone to Floyd Mayweather almost unanimously. But the fourth seemed to be undecided and Ortiz was trying to overcome some certain fears associated with fighting the top boxer in the world. But he made some mistake. And such mistakes are not rectified with hugging and kiss as Ortiz tried to do in the ring.
He told Floyd Mayweather that he was sorry for the headbutt. Nonetheless Mayweather was brutal in his response. He hit him a few solid punches on his jaw that seem to have finished the fight controversially in his favor.
But many of the boxing fans are disappointed with the fight and the hysteria it had generated. A reader says, “Mayweather has no honor. Why would you sucker punch your opponent when his hands are down? You are supposed to be a professional and a champion, act like one.
